Support

Get help

Email [email protected], and a person will answer, usually within 2 business days.

In Fermozi, tap the gear at the top of the jobs list, then Help, then Contact support, or tap Contact support on its plans screen. It starts the email for you, with your app version, phone model and system version filled in, and on Android, from Help, the size of Fermozi's saved records. It adds this phone's purchases ID, so we can find your trial or purchases if you ask about them, and nothing else: never your jobs or your customers.

How Fermozi works walks through each step, from setting your rates to the customer's signature.

Subscriptions and refunds

Fermozi Unlimited, Fermozi's paid plan, is billed by Apple or Google, so you manage it with them:

  • iPhone: Settings > your name > Subscriptions.
  • Android: Google Play > your profile picture > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.

Fermozi Unlimited starts with a 14-day free trial when your store offers you one, and you cancel a trial in the same place.

Refunds follow Apple's and Google's own policies, and you ask them for one.

A subscription stays with the store you bought it in, so it doesn't move between an iPhone and an Android phone. On a new phone with the same Apple or Google account, Fermozi finds your plan when it opens; if it doesn't, tap Restore purchases on its plans screen.

Taxes on your documents

Fermozi adds the taxes you enter to your quotes, bids and invoices, and prints your tax number on them if you add it in your business profile. Its taxes are for ordinary taxable work: special tax schemes aren't handled. A discount is a price cut agreed up front, so it comes off before tax; don't use one for paying early.

Fermozi's documents aren't tax invoices or fiscal documents in any country. In Spanish, the invoice your customer gets is titled Solicitud de pago, and it and the receipt say Documento no fiscal; in English and Hindi, an invoice or receipt that shows your tax number says it isn't a tax invoice. Where you or your customer need one, such as an electronic invoice, issue it as your tax authority requires.

Local laws

Fermozi is for running your jobs, not for keeping up with the laws where you work.

  • Some places cap deposits on home improvement jobs. Check your local laws.
  • Some jurisdictions may require specific language on a quote, such as a right to cancel. Check your local laws.
  • Some places may require your license number on quotes and contracts. Check your local laws.
  • Some places may require certain contracts to be signed on paper or in another formal way. Check your local laws.
  • Some places may require you to give the customer a complete copy of what they sign. Check your local laws.
  • Some places may require you to keep signed contracts and job records for years, so keep your own copies, such as a backup file saved off your phone. Check your local laws.
  • Some places have special rules for work on older homes that may have lead paint. Check your local laws.

Your data

Your jobs, customers and photos are stored only on your phone, so we can't see, restore or delete them for you. To keep a copy, or to move them to a new phone, tap Back up to a file in Fermozi's Settings. On the new phone, tap Restore from a backup file on the first screen of Fermozi's setup, or Restore from a file in its Settings. To remove them, delete the job in Fermozi, or delete the app. The privacy policy explains the rest.
